Longstanding legal professional, Susan McCole has joined Headleys Solicitors as an associate solicitor to head up the Wills and Probate department.

Qualifying as a solicitor in 1986, Susan previously practised with Frisby & Small. She has always worked in Leicester, having attended Nottingham Trent University and Guildford College of Law, undertaking her training at Owstons and progressing through the firm to partner, following the merger with Harvey Ingram.

Susan’s main areas of responsibility include Wills and Probate and Elderly Client services including Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection Work, together with advice on Long Term Care fees and funding.  A member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), Susan will also advise on Asset Protection and Lifetime Trusts.

Based at the firm’s Hinckley office, Susan will divide her time between both Hinckley and Lutterworth offices and is looking forward to developing long-term relationships with Headley’s clients across the whole practice. She says: “Through my professional and personal experience I hope to provide a friendly, efficient and caring service to clients.”
